Needed a stone chip repair on my windscreen and looked up local repairers in my area. Rob at Optic-Kleer came up and reviews online appeared positive. I phoned Rob and I attended Sainsbury's car park in Beaconsfield,one of numerous venues he works from. On arrival Rob was working on vehicles and appeared very busy under his Gazebo. I found Rob very personable and genuine when we spoke, and after inspection of my car and checking insurance policy information he agreed to work on my repair. He managed my expectations and I believe he would advise you if your windscreen damage was repairable or not. In my case it was. I have had a stone chip repair? done elsewhere before which turned into a crack across the windscreen the following morning resulting in a new windscreen. I was happy to give Rob a try and it was clear he was experienced in his trade. He took his time and was very methodical in his approach getting the repair done properly. With regard to paying for the repair. This is a case of paying Rob after completion and sometime later receiving payment back from your insurance company less your windscreen repair excess. Rob explained this to me clearly and receiving the refund was as quick or slow depending on the insurance company so realistically I wasn't expecting the refund anytime soon. My experience was very positive. I really liked Rob's can do attitude. Great care and attention to detail taken over the repair. The refund less the excess from my insurer arrived a week later ! It's been a month since my repair and it's as good as the day it was done,so thank you Rob. Based on my experience I would recommend Rob at Optic- Kleer and in the event of any new stone chips I will definitely be back to see him.
